Questions
Is this really free?
Yes. The cleaning tools and AI Vault are free and need no account. If paid extras appear later (for example hosted sync for teams), the local features stay usable.
Can it remove AI watermarks or make text undetectable?
No. It removes visible formatting, citation markers and invisible Unicode characters. It cannot remove statistical watermarks and does not make text “undetectable”. It never rewrites your words.
Is my text or export uploaded?
No. Everything is processed by JavaScript in your browser. There is no upload endpoint, no AI API call and no analytics script on these pages.
Is pseudonymization the same as anonymization?
No. Aliases hide direct identifiers, but context can still identify people, and detection can miss things. Always review the preview before sharing.
Are you affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?
No. This is an independent tool; product names only describe compatibility.
