The service

cleanchatgpt.com offers free text-cleaning tools and AI Vault, a web application that runs in your browser to organise, search, analyse and export conversations you exported from AI assistants. No account is required.

Your content and your responsibility

You keep all rights to the content you process. Because processing happens on your device, you are responsible for the files you import, for keeping your passphrase and backups safe, and for what you decide to share.

Privacy detection is heuristic and pseudonymization is not anonymization. Review every export before sharing it and make sure you have the right to share it.

Use the official export features of each provider. Do not use AI Vault to process data you are not allowed to process.

Provided as is

The tools are provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from their use, including data loss when a session is closed or a passphrase is forgotten.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass its security measures or use it to process content that is unlawful.

Trademarks and independence

ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI, Claude of Anthropic and Gemini of Google. They are mentioned only to describe compatibility. cleanchatgpt.com and AI Vault are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by these companies.
